* Tornado Warning for... Southern Horry County in northeastern South Carolina...

* Until 700 PM EDT

* At 553 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Bucksport, or 8 miles west of Socastee, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include... Myrtle Beach, Conway, North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach Airport, Socastee, Red Hill, Little River, North Myrtle Beach Airport, Cherry Grove Inlet, Little River Entrance, Loris, Hickory Grove, Homewood, Horry Georgetown Technical College Conway Campus, Nixonville, Barefoot Landing Area Of North Myrtle Beach, Bucksport, Dongola, Wampee and Goretown.
