The SEPD has received 10 to 11 calls about an IRS phone scam yesterday and today. 
The calls from the IRS state that an arrest warrant will be issued if a tax fine is not paid. The IRS does not send out arrest warrants. Residents are advised to give no information to the caller and to hang up. This is a scam and does not come from the government.
