Three vehicles were stolen between April 9th and 10th from various Shorewood addresses. It is suspected that two were taken with a spare key/fob. Vehicles were taken from addresses on the 2300 block of E. Lake Bluff, 4400 block of N. Frederick, and 1500 block of E. Kensington Blvd. One of the stolen vehicles was recovered by Shorewood Police abandoned in the area of 33rd and North Ave. in Milwaukee.
Three additional vehicle entries were reported and occurred about the same time frame. Those reported entries occurred in the structure at 3575 N. Oakland, 4500 block of N.Woodburn and 4300 block of N. Marlborough. All of these vehicles were entered by the suspect breaking a passenger side window.
The recovered stolen vehicle is being processed and these incidents remain under investigation.
Residents are asked to remove spare keys and anything of value from vehicles and make sure they are secured.
