9400 Block of Wildwood – On 03/24/17 resident discovered license plate removed from vehicle No Suspects No Witnesses
03/09/17 *B&E Coin Machines
9000 Block of Brookside -- someone(s) pried open and cut off the locks of the coin operated machines attached to the outside wall of the business. No property or money was obtained. No Suspects, No Witnesses
03/16/17 *Identity Theft/Fraudulent submittal for Unemployment Benefits
Victim reported that someone filed for unemployment benefits in Jan 2017 – No Suspect
03/24/17 *Telephone Harassment
400 Block of Westbrook -- victim receiving unwanted communication by a known subject - the case is currently under investigation

200 Block of Barker -- Forced entry occurred through the front door of the business, the case is currently under investigation

7000 Block of Coyle --A parked vehicle was hit during the night –Police investigation led to a suspect – civil restitution agreed on – Case Closed

4200 Block of N. Territorial –An unknown subject removed a secured generator from the site- the case is currently under investigation

300 Block of 6 Mile – Trouble at the Gas Station – Incident investigated, subject identified, assisted and escorted from location – charges pending prosecutorial review
Washtenaw County Sheriff is hosting a Citizens Police Academy
Summer 2017 Citizens Police Academy – May 31st – August 9th 2017!
The Citizens Police Academy is designed to give participants a behind the scenes, in-depth look into the everyday happenings of the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office.
Participants will meet command staff, learn how traffic stops are made, take a tour of the jail, meet our K-9 and Mounted members, learn how to process a crime scene, make an arrest, and much more.
Every Wednesday Dinner served: 5:30pm Class begins: 6:00pm Location: County Service Center on Hogback Rd. Jury Assembly Room 2201 Hogback Rd.
Cost: FREE Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
