* At 427 AM CDT...National Weather Service meteorologists were
tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles
southwest of Fredonia to 5 miles northwest of Elgin...and moving
east at 40 mph.
hail up to the size of dimes...and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be
possible with these storms along with heavy downpours of rain.

Independence, Neodesha, Caney, Sedan, Longton, Elk City, Tyro,
Peru, Chautauqua, Havana, Elgin, Bolton, Sycamore, Niotaze, Buxton,
Elk City Lake, Elk City State Park, Hale and Independence Airport.
