The Newton Police, along with Newton Health and Human Services and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration are announcing that there will be a Medication Take Back Day on Saturday April 29, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This event will be held behind the Newton Police Department, (Support Services Bureau), which is located at 1321 Washington Street, West Newton.

This can be done anonymously and includes all prescription and over the counter solid dosage medications, i.e., tablets and capsules.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING IN: intravenous solutions, Injectable Drugs or Needles-(Needles can be brought to Rumford Avenue for disposal).
