The Run the River race will take place Saturday, April 22, and will affect Riverside Rd. from 7:15 am to approx 9am

The Run the River 5K/10K race will take place, Saturday, April 22, and will affect Riverside Rd. (and some intersecting roads) from approximately 7:15 a.m. to approximately 9 a.m.
The 10K starts at 7:30 AM
The 5K stats at 7:45 AM
The Fun Run starts at 7:50 AM
Both the 5K and 10K portions of the race will start at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church (675 Riverside Rd.) and will run in the eastbound lane of Riverside Rd. The turnaround for the 5K will be near Martin’s Landing’s River Club. The 10K will continue further east turning onto Old Riverside Rd., then turning right onto Riverside Rd. and make a u-turn east of Eves Rd. The runners will then run back to St. Andrew's Catholic Church in the same lane as before.
--Both lanes of Riverside Rd., between Dogwood Rd. and St. Andrew’s Catholic Church (675 Riverside Rd.). will be closed from approx. 7:15 to 8:00 a.m., while the majority of the runners spread out.
--The westbound lane of Riverside Rd., from Eves Rd. to Dogwood Rd., will remain open to vehicular traffic.
--The westbound lane of Riverside Rd., from Dogwood Rd to SR9 (Atlanta St./Roswell Rd.), will open at approx. 8:05 a.m. to vehicular traffic.
--Traffic will not be allowed to turn onto Riverside Rd. eastbound from SR9 (Atlanta St./Roswell Rd.) during the race. Anyone who does come through will will be directed by police to make a U-turn at Riverside Park’s driveway utilizing the traffic circle inside the park.
