As the 71th annual Apple Blossom Festival approaches, we at the Sebastopol Police Department want to issue a friendly reminder that it is illegal to consume alcohol in public or to possess an open container of alcohol in public in Sebastopol.
The ordinance was enacted by the Sebastopol City Council to enhance public safety and to insure that public events, including the Apple Blossom Parade and Festival, remain welcoming and enjoyable for all.
The Sebastopol Police Department wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable Apple Blossom weekend!
