** 04/24/2017 09:30 A.M., Suspect is now in custody in reference to the Armed Robbery at the Hardee's Marathon near Clinton Sunday night.
Matthew B. Bridgewaters, 32 of Clinton is now in the Vermillion County Jail with preliminary charge of Armed Robbery, a Level 3 Felony.

Actively working an armed robbery (by knife) scene at the Hardee's/Marathon in Clinton on 163 near SR 63. The suspect (pics attached) entered the Hardee's side, robbed the Marathon attendant ($200 cash) by threat of a knife.
Vehicle description is unknown at this time. It is believed that he had been in earlier and didn't buy anything and was "possibly" in a white Jeep at that time. Vermillion County Sheriff's Deputies and Indiana Conservation Officer on scene. Description: white male, 5'11, stocky build, dark hair purple in the back.
