TWO YEAR OLD TODDLER KILLED IN DRIVEWAY OF HIS RESIDENCE
Los Angeles- On April 24, 2017, at approximately 10:00 a.m., a two year old boy was struck and killed by his 24 year old uncle as he was driving his 1997 Ford F-150 pick-up truck out of the front driveway of their residence at the 1100 block of East 49th Street, in South Los Angeles.
The uncle said he drove forward only a few feet when he felt an impact and came to an immediate stop. He then got out from the truck and saw that his nephew had been struck by the right front wheel of the truck.
The two year old was last seen playing in the back of residence by other family members just before the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics from Los Angeles City Fire Department. There was no evidence of criminal negligence.
