ROAD CLOSURE AVOID 800 W 500 S from 6 am Sat, 29th to Sun, 30th at 7 pm 
The Utah Department of Transportation advises all motorists and trucking operators that the Union Pacific Railroad will close 500 South (SR-68) at the railroad crossing at 800 West, Saturday and Sunday, April 29-30, to replace the concrete crossing panels at that location.
Because of this railroad crossing maintenance work, no traffic will be allowed past the crossing in either direction on 500 South (SR-68), from 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning April 29 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday April 30. Trucks and other motorists needing access to the refineries and industrial areas west of the crossing should use either 400 North (SR-106, Exit 317) in Bountiful, or Redwood Road (SR-68, Exit 27) via I-215.
Automobiles and authorized trucks (less than 5 axles and under 80,000 lbs. GVW) may also access areas west of the crossing via the Legacy Parkway 500 South Interchange (Exit 4) in West Bountiful.
