Two Men Arrested for Drug Violations.
On Saturday, April 22, 2017 at approximately 2:00pm, Hope Mills Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Walmart on North Main Street in reference to two subjects walking through the parking lot with an AK-47 type rifle. Responding Officers located the subjects on a dirt road near Walmart and made contact with them. During the course of their interaction with the subjects, later identified as Damien Michael Hess, 18 of the 3200 block of Glenmore Drive, Hope Mills and, Deandre Deon Wilson, 18 of the 5900 block of Notblake Drive, Hope Mills Officers found that both of them were carrying Marijuana packaged for sale and Wilson had a pistol illegally concealed on his person. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center for the following offenses:

1 Felony Count of Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Sell and Deliver
Deandre Deon Wilson $1500.00 Bond
1 Felony Count of Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Sell and Deliver
1 Misdemeanor Count of Carrying a Concealed Pistol
