Construction begins Monday, May 1, 2017 on M-24 from Nepessing St to Davis Lake Rd. Expect Delays. Plan alt. routes. 
Michigan Department of Transportation(MDOT) announces that construction will begin Monday, May 1, 2017 on M-24 between Nepessing Street and Davis Lake Road.
MDOT will be resurfacing 1.5 miles of M-25 to include sidewalk ramps improvements compliant with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), curb replacement and signal upgrades.
During construction one lane of northbound and southbound traffic will be open during daytime hours. Some night work may require additional lane closures maintained with flag control.
Expect delays and consider planning an alternative route. The project has an expected completion date of August 2017.
