Public Works Traffic Alert. 100 N Alpine Rd will be reduced to one lane Southbound for Emergency Storm Inlet Repair.
Rockford – Thursday, April 27, 2017 – Effective immediately, the City of Rockford Public Works Street Maintenance Division is closing the southbound curb lane at approximately 126 N Alpine Rd. because of a collapsed Storm Water Inlet. Repairs are scheduled and will likely be complete by Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 3:00 PM, subject to weather conditions.
Traffic control will be in place however citizens may want to consider using an alternate route during this time. Citizens are urged to use caution when travelling through all work zones.
