Flash Flood Watch Issued for Hamilton County Until 7AM Sunday. Remember - Turn Around, Don't Drown in Flooded Areas
A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Hamilton County along with most of central Indiana until Sunday morning. A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding, usually when the ground is already saturated and more rains may cause flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
Resident should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Remember, never enter a flooded or water covered area as just inches of moving water can sweep a person or vehicle away.
