Arrest: 21 year old male, resident of Hayward
Charges: Shoplifting
Officers responded to a theft of alcohol from a business. The suspect vehicle was located a short distance away and detained by officers. The occupant admitted involvement and the property was returned to the merchant. The suspect was cited and released from the scene.

Los Gatos Almaden/Verde
Arrest: 72 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: DUI, hit and run, outstanding warrant
Officers responded to a report of an erratic driver. The reporting party remained on the phone with dispatchers as the suspect collided into a parked car and the center divider. The vehicle was located and officers conducted an enforcement stop. The driver exhibited the objective signs of intoxication. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Arrest: 32 year old male, transient; 31 year old female, transient; 31 year old male, resident of San Jose; 40 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Possession of controlled substance, driving on a suspended license, under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, outstanding warrants
Officers observed a suspicious vehicle and conducted an enforcement stop for Vehicle Code violations. It was determined that the driver was on searchable probation, which yielded methamphetamine. A passenger had active warrants and was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Additional passengers were found to have active warrants and determined to be in possession of methamphetamine. All subjects contacted were in possession of a flashlights, officers located bolt cutters and gloves. Two of the subjects were transported to Main Jail, and the other two were cited and released.

Arrest: 45 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Threats, possession of concealed weapon
Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated subject who was causing a disturbance. Upon their arrival, officers located and contacted the involved subject. The subject was determined to be in possession of a concealed weapon. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident and transported to Main Jail.

University/Los Gatos-Saratoga
Officers responded to a collision involving a vehicle that rolled over and struck additional vehicle in the roadway. There were no injuries.

Los Gatos Blvd./Samaritan
Arrest: 50 year old male, resident of Campbell
Charges: DUI, possession of controlled substance
Officers conducted a vehicle enforcement stop on an erratic driver. The driver exhibited the objective signs of intoxication and was also determined to be under the influence. A search yielded multiple vials of anabolic steroids. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Charges: Drunk in public, resisting arrest
Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance. The subject became violent with responding officers. She was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Officers responded to a residential burglary that occurred several days prior. Follow-up is being conducted.
