ROSELLE MAN SENTENCED FOR DRUG AND WEAPONS CHARGES
Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns III, announced the sentencing of Pascal Exilus, age 33, of Roselle, NJ.
On November 20, 2015, Mr. Exilus was arrested by the Flemington Borough Police Department after a motor vehicle stop on Route 31 northbound in Flemington. Members of the Raritan Township Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office assisted in the investigation and arrest.
On March 10, 2017, Mr. Exilus was tried and convicted at a trial by jury. Mr. Exilus was found guilty of Unlawful Possession of a Handgun and Certain Persons not to Possess a Weapon, both 2nd degree crimes, and Possession of Cocaine, a 3rd degree crime.
On April 28, 2017, the Honorable Angela Borkowski, J.S.C., sentenced Mr. Exilus to 15 years in State Prison, with a mandatory 7.5 years before parole eligibility.
According to Prosecutor Kearns, “I would like to commend the law enforcement officers and detectives from the Flemington Borough Police Department, Raritan Township Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office for their hard work in this case. I would also like to thank Assistant Prosecutor Christopher Vaccaro for his outstanding effort.”
