Woman in critical condition after being struck by a hit and run vehicle
Los Angeles- On May 2, 2017, at approximately 8:00 p.m., a woman in her thirties, was crossing at the intersection of 70th Street and Broadway when she was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Broadway. The driver of the vehicle stopped briefly then fled the scene southbound on Broadway.
The victim was taken to California Hospital Medical Center by paramedics from the Los Angeles City Fire Department. She suffered severe head trauma and is listing in critical condition. Her identity is unknown.
According to witnesses, the hit and run vehicle is described as a white Toyota Tacoma with a camper shell. There is front end damage as a result of the collision. There is no driver description.
