The Putnam County Office of Public Safety will have a mock exercise at the Old Phillips Building Saturday morning.

COUNTY MOCK EXERCISE
Putnam County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) will be conducting a MOCK Haz-Mat Incident Exercise on May 6, 2017 held at the Old Phillips building in Ottawa, Ohio.
About 08:45 to 10:45 am you will see Local Law Enforcement, Fire Departments, EMS, Haz-Mat, and EMA responding to a simulated hazardous material release.
The primary focus of the exercise is the response to an incident where hazardous materials are involved. The exercise will assist the emergency planners in identifying areas of strength and area’s for improvement.
Again this is ONLY an excercise.
