* Flood Warning for...
Allen County in northeastern Indiana...
Putnam County in west central Ohio...
Defiance County in northwestern Ohio...
Paulding County in west central Ohio...
Henry County in northwestern Ohio...
Van Wert County in west central Ohio...
Allen County in west central Ohio...
Fulton County in northwestern Ohio...

* Until 645 PM EDT Friday

* Widespread flooding is expected to develop tonight...especially in
lowland areas and locations prone to flooding. Many creeks and
streams will likely rise out of their banks leading to flooding of
rural roads. Doppler radar and rain gauges indicated that up to 2
inches of rain has fallen today over the area. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 2 inches are likely overnight.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fort Wayne, Lima, Defiance, New Haven, Van Wert, Napoleon, Wauseon,
Delphos, Ottawa, Archbold, Bluffton, Swanton, Hicksville,
Huntertown, Paulding, Delta, Spencerville, Columbus Grove, Leipsic
and Elida.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
