Town Staff found what appears to be three Portuguese Man of War that washed ashore on the beach at Sullivan’s Island. This supports media reports of Man of War in the ocean south of Charleston. Swimmers should use extreme caution in the ocean and avoid any contact with a Portuguese Man of War. Dial 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency.
