Lomita deputies search for suspected drunk driver in Rancho Palos Verdes after brief chase 
On May 6, 2017, at about 12:30 am, a Sheriff’s sergeant observed a suspected drunk driver on PV Drive South and Peppertree Drive. When he attempted to make a traffic stop, the vehicle failed to yield. The vehicle traveled a short distance, before the driver hit a curb. Two occupants ran from the vehicle. The area was contained and a search conducted with a helicopter. One juvenile was taken into custody. The other occupant was not located.
