On May 9th, at 1:30 AM, an alert Downey resident witnessed her neighbor’s vehicle being burglarized along the 12600 block of Eastbrook Avenue and called 9-1-1. Downey officers immediately responded and caught the burglary suspects as they attempted to flee the area in their vehicle. The three suspects, all adult male residents of Baldwin Park, were found in possession of items they stole from the victim’s vehicle. Further investigation revealed the suspects had earlier burglarized another vehicle in the City of Bellflower and still had that victim’s property in their possession as well. Officers were able to return the stolen property to both victims and the three suspects were all booked for felony burglary.
