Crime Alert - Off Campus
Attention Rutgers Community:
The New Brunswick Police Department is investigating a robbery which is reported to have occurred on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at approximately 2:40 AM on Delafield Street between Bristol Street and Courtland Street.
In this incident, the victim, who is affiliated with Rutgers University, reported that he engaged in conversation with a male perpetrator who subsequently struck him, took items of value, and then fled in an unknown direction. The victim refused medical attention at the time of the incident and sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The description of the perpetrator is limited at this time.
The New Brunswick Police Department asks that anyone with information, or who may have been in the area at the time, to contact the New Brunswick Police Department Detective Bureau at 732-745-5217.

• Immediately reporting suspicious activity to local law enforcement;
• Remaining alert and aware of the people and circumstances around you;
