There have been reports of three brown bears in the area of 10 mile around the Fire Station 4 building. Please use caution and keep the area around your home free of things that will attract a passing bear such as: trash and garbage cans, barbeques and smokers, bird feeders, dog food and fishing equipment and coolers. To file a bear complaint, call the Valdez Police Department at 835-4560.
