***WHATABURGER ROBBERY PRESS RELEASE***
On 5/16/2017 at 2:57 AM, Red Oak Police Department Personnel were dispatched to Whataburger located at 215 S. State Highway 342 in regards to an aggravated robbery that had just occurred. The dispatcher advised responding units that the reporting person had informed them that they had been robbed at gunpoint. The first suspect is described as a White or Hispanic male between 16-22 years of age; last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and black shoes along with a black toboggan on his head and a blue bandanna covering his face. The second suspect is described as White or Hispanic male between 16-22 years of age; last seen wearing a gray sweat shirt, black pants and black shoes along with a Maroon Texas A&M ball cap on his head and a blue bandanna covering his face. During the robbery, the first suspect brandished a firearm and the second suspect brandished a large knife. The surveillance video also shows a third subject in a vehicle that drops the two suspects off just prior to the robbery. The Red Oak Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is conducting additional investigation and attempting to identify the below suspects which committed the robbery of Whataburger.
