E 18th Av from Swift to Clay will be closed from 7:00am-10:00 on Sat., May 20th for the Brandon Russell Flash Dash 5k 
On Saturday, May 20th, over 400 runners will be participating in the first annual Brandon Russell Flash Dash 5k and one-mile walk.
The race will begin and end at E. 18th Ave. and Swift St. which will require the temporary closing of E. 18th Ave. between Swift St. and Clay St. The closure is expected to last between 7:00am and 10:00am.
The race itself will take place completely South of Armour Rd. and is considered an open course where the runners will be sharing the road with vehicle traffic. If your daily travels on Saturday bring you to this area please be extra cautious of the runners, walkers, and volunteers.
