MAN ARRESTED ON FELONY LARCENY CHARGES
On Sunday, May 7, 2017 Hope Mills Police Officers responded to Lowes on North Main Street in reference to subjects that had been repeatedly stealing or, attempting to steal from the business over the course of several days. Upon arrival, Officers reviewed video surveillance footage and recognized the subjects to be Christopher Lukas Pierce, 25 of the 3100 block of Bolivia Street, Fayetteville and, Leslie Craig Pierce Jr., 44 of the 6000 block of Canadien Avenue, Fayetteville. Hope Mills Police Detectives obtained arrest warrants on both individuals and on May 12, 2017 arrested Christopher Lukas Pierce. Christopher Pierce was jailed at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $40,000.00 bond for the charges listed below.
Detectives are still attempting to locate Leslie Craig Pierce Jr. If you have information on Leslie Pierce’s whereabouts please contact the Hope Mills Police Detective Division at 910-425-4103 during normal business hours. After hours, please ask to speak to a Watch Commander or on-duty Supervisor. If you see Leslie Pierce Jr., do not approach or, attempt to detain him. Please call 911.
