Full Notification

On 5-20-2017 at approximately 2:30pm a Chula Vista Police Officer directing traffic in the area of Otay Lakes Rd and Wueste Rd. was struck by a vehicle. The officer sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a trauma unit. The officer has been with the Chula Vista Police Department for 2.5 years. It is believed alcohol to not be a factor.
