Two Arrested for Felony Narcotic Violations
On Saturday, May 20, 2017, Hope Mills Police Officers responded to a residence located in the 5300 block of Ahoskie Drive in reference to a disturbance. After quelling the disturbance, Officers observed items, paraphernalia, and other indicators inside the residence that suggested the residence was possibly being used for the purpose of narcotic sales. Officers subsequently obtained a search warrant for the residence and, during the course of the search they located significant amounts of ‘Crack’ Cocaine, powder Cocaine, and a small amount of Marijuana. Officers also seized paraphernalia, scales and, other items used for packaging narcotics along with several thousand dollars in U.S. Currency.
After executing the search warrant, Officers arrested Dajuan Jaqual McMillan, 30 of the 5330 block of Ahoskie Drive, Hope Mills and, Chelsee Olivia Blackburn, 22, also of the 5300 block of Ahoskie Drive. Both subjects were transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center where they were both jailed for the following charges:
