HMPD Detectives Arrest Man for Break-ins. 
On Tuesday, May 16, 2017 Hope Mills Police Officers responded to the 3600 block of Applegate Road in reference to residence that had been broken into. The suspect was gone upon the arrival of the Officers and, the case was forwarded to the Hope Mills Police Detective Division for follow-up investigation. During the course of their investigation, Detectives learned that Daniel Gale Nabors Jr., 30 of the 6200 block of Hackberry Drive, Hope Mills, was responsible for the break-in. On the evening of Friday, May 19, 2017, Nabors was arrested and transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center where he was jailed under a $10,000.00 bond for the following charges:
1 Count of Felony Breaking and Entering
1 Count of Felony Larceny
1 Count of Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretense
1 Count of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods
