Hamilton County is now under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 9:30PM. A severe thunderstorm warning is issued when trained storm spotters or a Doppler weather radar indicate that a thunderstorm is producing or will soon produce dangerously large hail, high winds, and sometimes tornadoes, capable of causing significant damage.
At 856 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Carmel, or 14
miles north of Indianapolis, moving east at 55 mph.
