Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 09:30PM

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM EDT FOR SOUTHWESTERN MADISON...NORTHWESTERN HANCOCK...NORTHERN MARION AND EASTERN HAMILTON COUNTIES... At 907 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fishers, or 15 miles northeast of Indianapolis, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Indianapolis, Anderson, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Lawrence, Cumberland, Cicero, McCordsville, Fortville, Lapel, Edgewood, Arcadia, Meridian Hills, Rocky Ripple, Williams Creek, Spring Hill, Crows Nest, North Crows Nest and Geist Reservoir. This includes the following highways... Interstate 69 between mile markers 200 and 215. Interstate 70 between mile markers 90 and 95. HAIL...<.75IN WIND...60MPH

Instructions:

A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a tornado is not immediately likely, if one is spotted act quickly and move to a place of safety inside a sturdy structure, such as a basement or small interior room. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
