Use of cell phone while driving, results in arrest 
On May 24th, 2017 at approximately 5:46 PM, Swanton Police Officers stopped a Maroon Ford Van due to the operator using their his cell phone while driving.
Investigation revealed that prior to the stop the operator who was seen on their phone; Nathan Coon (37) of Alburgh, switched seats with the passenger. Coons was found to have a criminally suspended drivers license and also to be in violation of court conditions to not drive.
Coon was issued a citation to appear in Franklin District Court on June 26th 2017 at 1:00 PM to answer to his charges.
