04/24/17 WTPD arrested Jesse Hric, age 28, of Washington, NJ and Richard Rathgeb, age 29, of Oxford, NJ. On 05/14/17 at approximately 6:14 PM, patrol responded to the 200 block of Rush Ave in Washington Borough for a report of a deer injured with a cross bow. Upon the officer’s arrival, a joint investigation ensued with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Fish and Game officers that resulted in the following charges. Mr. Hric was charged with the pursuit of wildlife with the aid of a motor vehicle, pursuit of deer during a closed season, interfering with the duties of a Conservation Officer, disorderly conduct and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. Mr. Rathgeb was charged with the pursuit of wildlife with the aid of a motor vehicle, pursue/ take deer during a closed season, hunting without a hunting license, possess a loaded crossbow within 150 feet of an occupied building, discharge a crossbow from a roadway, possess a cocked crossbow inside of a motor vehicle, discharge a crossbow without due caution and circumspection while taking wildlife, fail to make attempt to recover game, leave edible portions of game to waste, abandon a game mammal on property without owner’s permission, take a deer without a proper broad head on crossbow bolt, disorderly conduct and a local ordinance of discharging of a weapon within the Borough of Washington. Both men were processed and released with mandatory court dates.
05/14/17 WTPD arrested David Acosta, age 44, of Washington, NJ for terrorist threats, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. On 05/14/17 at approximately 7:18 PM, patrol responded to a report of a person making threats at Leo’s Pizza, 230 Rte. 31 N in Washington Township. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Acosta was frightening customers and had threatened to blow up the building. Mr. Acosta then fought with and resisted the officers when he was placed under arrest. He was taken into custody, processed and lodged in the WCJ.
05/16/17 WTPD arrested Charles Denning, age 38 of Washington, NJ for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 05/16/17 at approximately 1:48 AM, patrol observed Mr. Denning behind a closed business in the Warren Plaza, 400 Rte. 57 E. in Washington Township. The officer’s investigation revealed that Mr. Denning was going through the business trash. Mr. Denning was charged with a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.
05/16/17 WTPD arrested Brandon Lubold, age 18, of Washington, NJ for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 05/16/17 at approximately 6:04 PM, patrol responded to a complaint of lewd activity in the Washington Borough Park. Upon the officers’ arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Lubold was charged with a local ordinance. He was processed, charged with a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance and released with a mandatory court date.
05/18/17 WTPD arrested Albert Horace, age 64, of Washington, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Township. Mr. Horace was processed and released with a new court date.
05/22/17 WTPD arrested Michael Levitt, age 41, of Washington, NJ for simple assault, harassment and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Levitt was processed and lodged in the WC Jail.
05/24/17 WTPD arrested Beth Labrie, age 41, of Washington, NJ for a $750.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. Ms. Labrie was processed and released with a new court date.
05/26/17 WTPD arrested Rabine Armour, age 38, of Easton, PA, James Hurt, age 40, of Brooklyn, NY and Omar Hurt, age 39, of Bethlehem, PA. On 05/26/17 at approximately 9:08 PM, patrol responded to a report of a burglary in progress to a residence in the 1st block of W. Asbury Anderson Rd. in Washington Township. Upon the officers’ arrival in the area, they quickly located the vehicle and conducted a motor vehicle stop. The officer’s investigation resulted in the arrest of all three men who were charged with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and possession of burglary tools. Mr. Omar Hurt was also issued a motor vehicle summons for driving with a suspended driver’s license. Mr. Armour was also issued a motor vehicle summons for riding on parts not intended. James Hurt was found to be an NCIC wanted person out of the Essex County Sheriff’s Department. Both Rabine Armour and James Hurt were lodged in the WCJ. Omar Hurt was released with a mandatory court date.
05/27/17 WTPD arrested Karen Knapp, age 41, of Liberty, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. Ms. Knapp was processed and released with a new court date.
