Suspect Identified in Big City Vape Burglary
On Saturday, May 20, 2017 a local Anderson business, Big City Vape, was burglarized. During the burglary a glass door was smashed to gain entry into the business and several thousand dollars of merchandise was taken.
After several days of investigation the Anderson Police Department was able to identify one of the three suspects. The suspect is a juvenile therefor, the Police Department is unable to release the name of that juvenile. On Friday, May 26, 2017 the Anderson Police Department successfully served a search warrant on the suspect’s residence, leading to the recovery of a number of stolen items that was taken during the burglary and further investigative leads.
Due to the case being an ongoing investigation any further details cannot be released.
The case has been submitted the to Shasta County District Attorney’s office for prosecution.
