Police Investigation
This afternoon (June 1, 2017) at about 4pm, Chaska Police officers received a report of two students walking south of Pioneer Ridge Middle School, along Audubon Road near Weston Ridge, with what appeared to be a gun. Officers quickly identified both boys and made contact with them and their parents. They learned that the gun was a toy. Officers found there to be no danger to the public during this incident. School officials have been advised. Officers are continuing to investigate the matter and will work with school officials to come to an appropriate resolution for people involved in the situation. There is no further information available at this time.
