The city of South El Monte hosted its annual Deputy Day on Thursday, June 1st, 2017 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. The event was held at New Temple Park in the city of South El Monte. Schools from the local district participated. This event allows the children to have a positive interaction with our deputies and gives us an opportunity to make a positive impression on their lives. Close to 1,000 children were able to participate and appeared to have a great time. Thank you to all of the specialized units who were able to participate and make this a special day for the children.
