Chula Vista Police Foundation hosts Annual Fundraising at the CV Elite Athlete Training Center Tonight 
The Chula Vista Police Foundation is hosting their annual Evening with Heroes Cocktail Reception and Luau Dinner tonight, Saturday June 3rd, at the Elite Athlete Center in Chula Vista (5-8 pm).
The event honors the good work of the Police Department's Officers and Employees and serves as a fundraiser for the Foundation, whose mission is to provide needed resources for community outreach and unfunded equipment.
Scheduled guests include Ann Krone, who lost her legs to an auto accident last year and credits two officers with saving her life with Foundation-funded tourniquets. Also a brief tribute to fallen SDPD Officer Jonathan De Guzman will remind attendees of the risk to those who serve.
The event allows invited guests to view interactive law enforcement related displays and demonstrations (SWAT, Mobile Field Force, K-9, UAS/Drones), and also features a silent auction and live auction including dozens of items such as unique vacation destinations and law enforcement experiences.
The hundreds of guests should be treated to an entertaining and inspiring evening complete with a Hawaiian themed buffet dinner, cocktails, and entertainment: all to raise funding for needed community services.
