On June 4 2017, at approximately 12:00 am, Lomita deputies received an alert of a stolen 2016 Hyundai from a fixed Automated License Plate Reader. The vehicle was located on Crest Road and Whitley Collins Drive, Rancho Palos Verdes. The lone occupant, a female adult, was subsequently taken into custody by deputies without incident. The car had been reported stolen on June 1, 2017, in Torrance. The suspect was booked at Lomita Sheriff’s Station.
