Today’s Coffee With A Cop Event Was A Success! Thank You To Everyone Who Attended. 
On Tuesday, June 6, 2017, the Sausalito Police Department held a “Coffee with a Cop” event at Starbucks, 14 Princess Street, from 10AM to 11AM. The goal of “Coffee with a Cop” is to break down barriers between police officers and citizens by creating an environment where open communication between officers and citizens is encouraged. These informal and personal conversations allow the citizens to ask officers questions, voice their concerns, and to get to know the officers better.
During this event, Sausalito Police Officers spoke to numerous citizens from the community. Topics that were discussed were crime, traffic, quality of life issues in Sausalito, world news, family, and sports.
The Sausalito Police Department will be holding additional “Coffee with a Cop” events in future months.
