Today we were able to honor one of our own. Dep. John Slobojan suffered a massive heart attack while in foot pursuit of a suspect in the city of South El Monte on Nov. 7, 1964. Dep. Slobojan's family, along with department exexutives and dignitaries, were present for the unveiling of Dep. Slobojan's portrait in the halls of Temple Station.
