On Saturday June 10th at 6:30 am a woman called the Morgan Hill Police Department to report a male just attempted to sexually assault her at the Shell Gas Station located at 810 East Dunne Ave. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim who was an employee at the business. The victim told the officers a male subject walked into the business acting nervous. The victim told the male he need to leave the business because he was asking for free stuff. The male grabbed the victim around the arms and dragged her towards the back-storage room. The victim was able to fight the attacker off by striking him in the face. The suspect sustained injuries to his face and fled the business on foot, last seen running east bound through the parking lot of Home Depot. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between the age of 25 – 35 years, he is approximately 5’10”- 6’1, weighing between 170-185 lbs. He was wearing a black zip up hooded jacket, with a blue colored undershirt and dark blue jeans. The victim stated the suspect had a tattoo under his left eye possibly a tear drop, a tattoo on the front of his neck in block lettering but it was not all the way filled in, and a tattoo of brass knuckles on his left hand.
