Law Enforcement Torch Run Benefitting Special Olympics Northern California. 
On 06-15-2017, members of the Ripon Police Department, along with city staff members and Alcoholic Beverage Control Agents will be participating in the Law Enforcement Torch Run benefitting Special Olympics Northern California.
At 7:00 a.m. officers will be running almost 20 miles beginning at the City of Ripon Arch on S. Stockton Ave. After a large group-run through Ripon’s historic downtown, team members will charge though the county area where the run will culminate in a warm welcome from the staff at Deuel Vocational Institute. Here, the torch will be passed on to be proudly carried to other awaiting agencies, culminating in the delivery to the Northern California Special Olympics!
Over 3,500 law enforcement personnel from Federal, Military, State, County and Local agencies participate in the Torch Run fundraising campaign. This is the opportunity for our agency to come together and make a positive impact in our community by supporting Special Olympics Northern California.
