Severe thunderstorms are ongoing across Wisconsin and northern Illinois this afternoon are expected to spread across portions of northern Michigan this evening. Any thunderstorms will be capable of producing damaging winds and large hail.

Thunderstorms are expected to become more numerous and spread across the entire outlook area this evening into the overnight hours. A few storms will have the potential to become severe, especially between 7pm and midnight. Wind gusts in excess of 60 mph and hail to one inch in diameter are the primary severe weather threats.
