San Pablo, CA. - Norman Alexander Lozano, 41, of San Pablo, Ca, was arrested by members of the San Pablo Police Department on June 6, 2017 on suspicion of child molest. On June 8, 2017, the Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office filed a criminal complaint, charging Mr. Lozano with 36 felony counts, all related to his sexual abuse of a minor. Mr. Lozano is currently in county jail with bail set at $10.9 million.
It is alleged that Mr. Lozano met the minor when she was approximately 5 years old, and is charged with numerous sexual offenses committed when she was between the ages of 11 and 16. According to the minor’s statements to investigators, Mr. Lozano would take her to various motels across West Contra Costa County where he would commit the offenses.
Mr. Lozano is the owner and operator of two businesses in San Pablo, the NY Learning Center and the Noya Restaurant and Lounge. The case is actively being investigated by the San Pablo Police Department and anyone who may have information pertinent to the investigation is encouraged to contact Sergeant Barajas of the San Pablo Police
Department at (510) 215-3150. Although the minor has no connection or affiliation to the NY Learning Center, anyone who believes there were any inappropriate actions by Mr. Lozano in connection with his businesses is encouraged to contact Sgt. Barajas immediately.
