Petty Theft Leads to Two Warrant Arrests 
Two thieves were unaware that shoplifting is not the best way to avoid police attention if you have warrants. On Wednesday June 14, 2017 at about 3:50 PM a thieving couple went into Sally’s Beauty Supply in the Walmart Shopping Center and began concealing property in a large purse. Employee’s called Shascom to report the theft. Anderson Police responded and caught the two as they were leaving the beauty store with the items.
Unfortunately for the criminals, their situation went from bad to worse. Instead of a simple shoplifting charge, both suspects had warrants out for their arrest. 28 year old Travis Haller of Redding had felony warrants and 28 year old Mikayla Miranda of Redding had misdemeanor warrants. Both suspects were arrested on those warrants and booked into Shasta County Jail. Additional charges, will also be filed.
The staff and customers at Sally’s Beauty Supply were instrumental in getting two more thieves off the street in Anderson!
