100-blk Vista Real
Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle had been parked on the street in front of the residence.
6/6/2017 1525 hours
Lark/Highland Oaks
Arrest: 4 female juveniles, residents of San Jose
Charges: Possession of stolen vehicle, failure to yield
Detectives conducting burglary suppression observed a suspicious vehicle occupied by 6 subjects. They initiated an enforcement stop and the vehicle fled. The driver fled from the vehicle on foot and was pursued by one of the detectives. Simultaneously, another passenger jumped into the driver’s seat and led other responding officers on another pursuit. The vehicle ultimately yielded on Lark near Los Gatos Blvd after being involved in a collision. It was determined that the vehicle had been recently stolen in San Jose. The juvenile suspects were arrested and transported to Juvenile Hall.
While enroute to Juvenile Hall, transporting officers observed an additional stolen vehicle. The information was relayed to the California Highway Patrol, who conducted a stop and arrested the occupants for possession of a stolen vehicle without incident.

100-blk N. Santa Cruz
Arrest: 48 year old male, resident of Scotts Valley
Charges: DUI
Officers responded to a report of a minor collision and determined that one involved party exhibited the objective signs of alcohol intoxication. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.
6/8/2017 1949 hours
15400-blk Los Gatos Blvd
Officers responded to a theft at a salon. Three suspects entered the business and insisted on receiving treatments one at a time, instead of concurrently as is established practice. While one suspect received treatment, the other two distracted the employees. It was later determined that the employee’s personal belongings had been stolen. Follow-up is being conducted.

700-blk University
Officers responded to a burglary at a storage facility. Unknown suspects broke the lock to a unit and stole items.
6/11/2017 1111 hours
100-blk Arroyo Grande
Officers responded to a residential burglary that occurred the night before. Unknown suspects entered the residence at night while the residents were asleep. Surveillance footage was captured and follow-up is being conducted.
