POLICE INFORMATION: Police are seeking the communities assistance with an attempted child luring investigation 
On 06/20/17, at 11:03 AM, the Upper Moreland Police Department responded to a report of an attempted luring into a motor vehicle in the area of Woodlawn Avenue and Silver Avenue in Willow Grove. A 12-year-old male reported that the vehicle pulled up and the occupant told the child that he knew the child’s parents and they said he could drive the child home. The child ran from the scene and notified the police.
The vehicle description is a dark blue, older model Jeep, possibly a Liberty or Patriot. The vehicle displayed a New Jersey Registration with “173” possibly being the first three digits. The offender is described as a White or Hispanic male in his mid-thirties, with a short buzz haircut, with black or brown hair, wearing sport sunglasses.
