Woman Arrested for Vehicle Break-In.

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017 Hope Mills Police Officers responded to the 4200 block of High Stakes Circle in reference to a vehicle break-in. Upon arrival, the Officers found that the suspect/s had already left the area and, the case was forwarded to the Hope Mills Police Department Detective Division for further investigation. During the course of their investigation, Detectives found that Brandy Nicole Coroneas, 33, was responsible for the break-in. Detectives also learned that Coroneas and, other individuals were likely responsible for other break-ins in the area. On the afternoon of June 27, 2017, Coroneas was located by Hope Mills Detective and arrested for the vehicle break-in on High Stakes Circle. Coroneas was transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center where she was jailed under a $15000.00 bond for the following charges:

1 Count of Felony Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle
1 Count of Felony Larceny
1 Count of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods
1 Count of Felony Conspiracy

This investigation is ongoing and, more charges against Coroneas and other involved individuals are forthcoming.
